Outreach
Rector’s Discretionary Fund. Gift cards and financial donations given on Christmas Eve are
distributed throughout the year for those in our congregation and in the community who need
help with groceries, bus tickets, and more.
St. Paul’s Foodbank
Our next time to donate food for St. Paul’s Foodbank is Sunday, 14th December. It’s almost
Christmas, so can we make it another “Fill the Trunk” moment?? In addition to the usual food
items, this month they have requested toiletries, and some lunch snacks for kids.
Breakfast Program
We serve 2 breakfasts in December, and another on January 4th. At the breakfast on December
20th, we give individuals a Christmas card with a $10 gift card to Dollar Tree or Dollarama.
For families, we give gift cards for Giant Tiger. This year, thanks to a generous donation, we
will have laundry strips to offer as well. This practice is in lieu of making up Christmas bags
with multiple items.
At the January meal, we have a special treat like cinnamon buns and warm apple cider to bring in
the New Year. We are asking for your financial support to provide these gift cards, which we shall
purchase through FundScrip. Having this appeal for the Christmas gifts means that we can avoid
using the money raised by regular donors, and supporters of the Run / Walk.
Please put your donation on collection plate, e-transfer, or leave with the office during the week.

Fundraising and Social
FundScrip: Rick will be in the Narthex on Sunday to take your card orders – last chance before
Christmas! Cards make excellent stocking stuffers, will be useful for Christmas Share, and for
our own Rector’s Discretionary Fund. Because the church gets a percentage of card value when
they are used, it’s a “win-win” situation.
Calendars!! 2026 Canadian Church Calendars are now here and can be purchased from any
Chancel Guild member at the usual price – $10.00. An annual bargain!
Choir
Will always welcome anyone with a love of music and singing to join them. Rehearsal time is
on Sunday at 11.15 am, after the 10.00 am service.
